MERGE OF EQUALS - Submerge
Pressetext : SWISS RAPTURE OF THE DEEP On the 17th of June Sine Music will be releasing the second album by Merge of Equals entitled Submerge. The album will be available on CD and at all well known download stores. As the title suggests: listeners of Submerge dive deep down into the sound-world of Flavio Maspoli. This versatile, multifaceted artist and producer from Zuerich caused a sensation in the European music scene with his debut creation „Intoxicating“ and now, with his new album, puts the listener, already with the first track, into a kind of rapture of the deep. 'The World Is One could well be the Credo of this new album Submerge. With titles like Tvija Lijubov, Biya, Opium or Atesh mystic and exotic tones taken from a wide variety of cultures fuse with modern beats and futuristic electronic sounds to enter a new symbiosis. The captivating vocals in varying languages of the guest vocalists Gina Estrada, Sitta Foehr, Jelena Schweizer, Katt Tait and Kotomi Bisang-Mori guarantee a very special multi-cultural deep-sea dive while discretely enhancing the established Chillout and Lounge paths. Even the classic Bar Chillout lover will be rewarded with tracks such as Kleine Wolke or Heart & Mind. The artist describes this new slot he has created as 'Magic Chill': offering a balance separate from prevalent trends. So: take a deep breath, close your eyes and dive in to the magical world of Merge Of Equals – you may never want to surface... Submerge – The World Is One

Celebrating of 5 years of producing one of the smoothest Podcasts in the Bay Area, Anji Bee of Lovespirals, has produced a wonderfully chilled compilation EP. Five Years of Chillin' - includes some great artists including, Mo Shang, Chill Factor-5, Sunburn in Cyprus as well as Anji's own group Lovespirals. One word to describe this EP... sweeeeeeeet!! I first discovered Anji Bee & Lovespirals over five years ago at the dawn of Subsonic Temple. The previuous incarnation of the group - Lovespirals Downwards and Lovespirals - were some of the intial groups that served as an introduction to Chilled and Downtempo music for Subsonic Temple and fuel my search for more. If you are interested in some extremely groovy sounds you must check this out!

Christophe Goze is back with his latest release The Long Way Home
Known for his brilliant ability to blend world music with jazz and downtempo, Christophe's latest release The Long Way Home takes listeners on exotic journey of thoughts and emotions. Good music is often hard to describe and must really just be experienced. "The Long Way Home" is smooth and groovin' and at the same time tugs on the emotional heart-strings. In our all to busy world we often don't slow down and take note of the more important things in life. Imagine taking the long way home, reflecting on life's joys and pain. I'm not sure if this was Christophe's intent, but it certainly where my this great album took me.
